Education should focus on the product
Process is important but we must put it's favor in the product what ever the the process takes. Because every action there must be a purpose that want to be achieved, called product. And of course in the education we wanted our children has ability to solve all the problem that they will be facing in order to survived. As long as that is reasonable according to the laws.
And it does worrying that so many teachers are so thrilled to point out thinking processes they make use of but have no real worthwhile 'products' to show for it. While process is obviously important students like to see something to show from what they have been 'processing' - a 'product', or new ideas about something they can demonstrate or do.
In situation rushing through processes at the risk of doing fewer things well would be counterproductive/having the opposite of the desired effect. If students can not do what they have processed they haven't done it, it all become wast of time and material. And not all students understand of all the process what the teacher has given, the result of it make them droped and do not want to study again and everything become waste. We must put aside the process is and and give more attention to the product that student needs.
